New York Woodsmiths came to us with a concept for a logo. We worked to turn their vision into a workable logo and web site.

Quality printing is virtually a commodity in the New York tristate area. Because differentiating one firm on the basis of quality/price/service is difficult, we developed a promotional piece to create an emotional bond between Axiom and the marketing/design community. This cross-cultural seasonal greeting card says we’re interested in the same things you are — the riches of a diverse society. The brilliant colors and clever concept establish Axiom’s printing capabilities and its sensitivity to design.

We developed the brand positioning for Sock & Sole. Using proprietary technology, Royce, a leader in licensed hosiery for Nine West, Dockers and Nautica, invented Sock & Sole and with it a new product category. To overcome consumer resistance to an unfamiliar category, we used two marketing messages: the product is fun, “hip” and easy to use and it can be worn anywhere. We created the logomark, packaging, and point-of-purchase items and tied the marketing messages together with the tagline: Funwear. Anywhere.

Created a mark unique to Cogent by joining the naturally round letters “COG” in the name to the straight letters “ENT with a distinctive ligature. The logomark has a precise, technological look, and the “friendly curve” ligature, which can be used as a freestanding graphic, gives the company an approachable image that is in line with its personal style and commitment to service.

Focusing on Cogent’s ability to work in a collegial way with all types of clients – from the tech shy to the tech savvy, we created a site that sets Cogent apart from a sizable group of tech-heavy competitors. The site was designed to accommodate a large amount of material covering several areas of expertise while underscoring the firm’s commitment to make technology friendly for their customers. We provided a clear structural order and easy navigation and accomplished all of this within strict W3C accessibility guidelines.

American Stock Transfer’s key corporate message is “service — the moment you need it.” We helped AST present a new line of technology products as an extension of that message. In text and graphics, we emphasized the ability to connect, access and act upon detailed information any time, anywhere. Elegant repeating curves underscore the theme of constant connection and help to unify the book, while moving the eye through its pages.

To effectively introduce AIG@Work, a new approach to the traditional AD&D market, we made sure the language and visuals: sell compellingly and directly to the needs of the broker, employer and employee and differentiate AIG@Work as a truly new development in the world of AD&D insurance.

The branding ensures that AIG@Work engages audiences emotionally and leaves them with a sense of friendliness, accessibility, smartness and innovation. And because the program encompasses dozens of individual products, markets and cross-sell situations, we built in a dynamic flexibility that allows for many different applications without compromising a comprehensive and integrated whole.

Our language is upbeat and crisp. It always includes an emphatic statement of the AIG@Work core platform message and echos key messages. The visual atmosphere reflects this verbal openness and freshness. The pieces are predominantly white with energetic photography, a large presentation of the AIG@Work brand mark, and a layout and attendant graphic that bring the eye to the mark. All of these elements can be used in exciting new creative applications and still be immediately identifiable.
